2026 Annual Awards Night

Last weekend, we held our Annual Awards Night at the Pavilion, bringing together players, supporters, parents and friends of the club to celebrate another hugely successful season.

There was an excellent turnout, with representatives from all five senior teams, along with members of our junior section, in attendance to celebrate the achievements of the club, our teams and individual players throughout the 2026 season.

Club President Keith Wilson opened proceedings by welcoming everyone to the evening and reflecting on an excellent year across the club, from the 1st XI right through to our Under 11s. With plenty of silverware and success to celebrate, it has been a season of which everyone associated with the club can be extremely proud.

Keith also highlighted the tremendous improvement in our grounds over the course of the season. This is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the team who have given so much of their time to make such a noticeable difference.

Special recognition was also given to the club’s hospitality team. Having hosted several important representative fixtures during the 2026 season, an immense amount of work has gone on behind the scenes to ensure these occasions were a success.

Club Secretary Gareth McCarter then introduced our team captains and youth convenors, who each gave a report on their respective teams and reflected on the season.

Following the presentations, everyone enjoyed a fantastic meal prepared and served by our very own Dean Coppard. A massive thank you to Deano for all his hard work and for providing such an excellent meal.

Music for the remainder of the evening was provided by Paul Nevin, with those in attendance enjoying the opportunity to celebrate and dance the night away.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped organise the Awards Night and contributed to making the evening such a success.

Most importantly, congratulations to all of our 2026 award winners, and to every player, coach, volunteer and supporter who played their part in another memorable season for the club.
