Golf Day Thanks…
Our recent Armagh Cricket Club golf day at Loughgall Golf and Country Club proved to be a great success.
Despite some rain threatening before the “Shotgun” event commenced at 2.00pm, the skies stayed clear for the duration - much to the delight of the club members, their guests and the golfers.
Special thanks is extended to Loughgall Golf and Country Club for hosting us and for all their organisation behind the scenes - hopefully we will return again soon to host similar events.
In fact planning has already started for the next one!
Also a very special thank you to our sponsors. There are way too many to mention and you will have seen by the names on the tee boxes and greens how fortunate we were to have such wonderful support. Thank you all so much!
A huge thank you too goes to our volunteers on the day for keeping everything running in a smooth fashion.
After the golf finished the competitors returned to The Pavilion on The Mall for the distribution of prizes and also where “On the Hoof” served an excellent meal after a gruelling day on the course. The food was simply amazing so a big thank you to Geoff Chapman and his team.
An event like this takes a lot of preparation and organisation and we did have a sub committee set up, however Harry Boyd was the kingpin behind everything to make sure all was tip top on the day.
