A Season to Remember

Another junior cricket season has come to an end, and it’s certainly one to remember!

This year, 35 children represented the club across our U11 and U13 age groups. It has been fantastic to watch them develop their skills and grow in confidence throughout the summer - and what a summer it has been!

The U11s played nine matches - five league and four cup - finishing with seven wins, one tie and just one defeat. Their fantastic cup run took them all the way to the Development Cup Final.

The U13s also played nine matches and finished the season with a perfect nine wins from nine, culminating in two Cup Final victories - an incredible achievement!

While the focus will always be on enjoyment and development, it’s impossible to overlook the fantastic results achieved on the field this summer. Both age groups have enjoyed an incredibly successful season and, more importantly, we have seen a brilliant group of young cricketers continue their development and progress in the right direction.

Congratulations to all of our award winners, and a huge well done to every one of the boys and girls who represented the club this year. We look ahead to next season with great excitement!
